The club’s outdoor season gets up and running on Saturday, 11 April, with a friendly against Rhoose (starting at 2.30pm) at Barry Central, followed by a trip to Newport Belle Vue for another friendly on 18 April (starting at 3pm) and a third at Rumney on 25 April (starting at 2pm).  The first serious encounter of the season is a trip to Murch in the Munro Cup on 22 April (starting at 6pm).

Our first competitive home game takes place a week later on 29 April against Llantwit Major in the Munro Cup, while our first match in the CDMBA Cup takes place at Gladstone Gardens on Saturday, 2 May, when Fairoak are the visitors.

The preliminary rounds of the Carruthers Shield occupy the next three Saturdays in May, with our opening match in the competition a home game against Pencoed on Saturday, 9 May. Our first CDMBA League fixture is on 30 May when Ferndale come to Buttrills Road.

Porthcawl is pencilled in for a friendly on 13 June (venue to be confirmed) depending on how both sides are doing in the Carruthers Shield, while the club is also scheduled to host a Dementia Friendly Barry tournament on Friday, 22 May. This year the club is also hosting the annual Dambusters competition on Sunday, 17 May. See the picture below for the full list of Barry Central’s league and cup fixtures for 2026.
